Ocha Matcha butter icing

This Ocha Matcha butter icing is a delicious way to dress up fairy cakes.

10 minutes prep time. Covers 12 fairy cakes.


  • 1 Chashaka of matcha powder (or 1/2 teaspoon)
  • 100g softened butter
  • 225 sifted icing sugar
  1. Beat together butter and sugar until thick, creamy and smooth
  2. Stir in sieved matcha powder
  3. Pipe on to cool fairy cakes
  4. Enjoy!
